Charakusa & Nangma Valley Trek
About This Destination
This is one of Pakistan's most spectacular trekking expeditions — a fourteen-day journey through the twin wildernesses of the Nangma and Charakusa Valleys in the heart of the Karakoram. From the historic town of Khaplu you trek into Nangma — 'Pakistan's Yosemite' — beneath its sheer cathedral walls, then cross into the Charakusa Valley to stand at the base camp of K6 (7,282m) and K7 (6,934m), ringed by Laila Peak, Link Sar and some of the finest granite spires on earth. Designed for photographers and serious trekkers, you travel with professional photographer-guides and a full mountain crew — cook, guides and porters — sleeping under some of the darkest, star-filled skies on the planet. Unlike Concordia or Fairy Meadows, these valleys see only a handful of travellers each season. TravelBug.pk handles every permit, porter and camp so you experience only the magic.
